Kathryn Jenkin  Kathryn has been closely involved with choral singing all her life. Early years were spent at the Watford School of Music, and with the Hertfordshire County Youth Choir, performing at the Royal Festival Hall and touring Germany. She gained a Choral Scholarship to study Music and Drama at Warwick University, singing in the Chamber Choir under Simon Halsey, and performing as a soloist. Following two years on the Postgraduate Singing Course at the Royal Academy of Music she has worked with many professional choirs and choruses (London Voices, English National Opera, Dunedin Consort), and has appeared as a regular guest artist at the Stour Festival in Kent with Mark Deller, with repertoire including Mozart, Handel, Purcell, Britten and Bach. Kathryn has performed extensively as a soloist in Europe, Bahrain, Dubai, Brazil and the USA. She sings regularly with the Chorus at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, appearing recently in the King’s Coronation Concert at Windsor Castle, and enjoys combining this with her work as singing teacher.
